Pinnacle Mountain

Pinnacle Mountain State Park is located near the Northwestern edge of Little Rock. The 70+ acre park has something for everyone: large fields, a playground, short paved trails through scenic bottomland forest, an arboretum, an educational visitor center, multiple put-ins on the Little Maumelle and Maumelle rivers, and several more rigorous hikes to the top of Pinnacle Mountain and other peaks in the area. The park maintains over 40 miles of paved, unpaved, and water trails. When you get to the park be sure to grab a copy of their trails brochure.

Since trails here are heavily trafficked, please stay on marked trails. Erosion is a major problem on the unpaved trails around the park and taking shortcuts or using old trails can make the problem worse.
